What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is exactly what it sounds like — healthcare built directly between you and your doctor without the middleman. In this model your child receives care directly from his/her pediatrician, free from the limitations and frustrations of insurance-driven medicine.

As your child’s pediatrician my focus is entirely on what’s best for your child and your family — not on meeting insurance requirements or quotas.

How It Works

As a member of Nest Pediatrics you’ll pay a monthly membership fee that covers all visits, communication and paperwork. Because I care for a smaller number of patients, I’m able to spend more time with each family and provide truly personalized care.

You’ll enjoy:

    •    Same-day or next-day appointments almost every time you need one

    •    Longer, unrushed visits focused on your child and your concerns

    •    Direct access to your pediatrician by text, phone, or video

    •    Optional newborn home visits for the first month of life if you prefer not to come into a clinic

    •    Care for many common issues without needing an in-person visit

Insurance can still be used for vaccines, medications, imaging, and referrals, but your child’s primary care will be handled directly, personally, and with the attention you deserve.

If you’d like to learn more I’d love to meet with you. Schedule a Meet & Greet to discover how this model can simplify your family’s healthcare and bring back the personal touch to pediatrics.
